The Console Printer form enables you to associate a printer and document type with the selected console. You can assign multiple printers to a console and associate multiple document types with a console printer.
If you associate a printer to a console, when a user selects that console and successfully processes a gate transaction that requires a printed gate ticket, the associated printer will pre-populate in the Print Tickets form (on page 1).
To add or edit a console printer:
From the Console Printer drop-down list, select a printer ID.
The drop-down list displays only the printers configured at the current scope level. To configure a new printer, see Printer form (on page 1).
Optionally, from the Document Type drop-down list, select a document type such as EIR, pick-up ticket, or drop-off ticket.

If you specify a Document Type, the printer ID associated with a console will only pre-populate in the Print Tickets form when the specified document type prints for a successfully processed gate transaction.
Click Save.
